The Chinese state-sponsored hacking group Volt Typhoon has been exploiting multiple zero-day vulnerabilities in enterprise management platforms to breach U.S. critical infrastructure networks. This campaign, ongoing for over three years, utilizes a covert access framework called Silent Train, built from rapidly rotating chains of compromised devices. The exploitation of these previously unknown vulnerabilities has allowed Volt Typhoon to penetrate strategically significant organizations.
